Our new website is live, bringing together Intelligenciia’s approach to search, the people behind our business, and a searchable collection of our industry articles.

It also marks our return to publishing insights on the developments shaping mining and natural resources, and what those developments mean for the people who lead, build and operate these businesses.

The purpose is straightforward: to help employers and professionals make better decisions with a clearer understanding of the industry around them.

A clearer view of how we work

Senior and executive hiring starts with understanding the business. A title alone says little about the challenge ahead. The same position can carry very different responsibilities in an exploration company, a developer preparing for construction, or an established producer.

Our new website gives visitors a clearer view of our search services and the process behind them. For employers, it provides a starting point for understanding how we approach a mandate. For candidates, it offers an introduction to our team and access to current opportunities.

That understanding matters. A successful appointment depends on the relationship between the role, the organisation and where the business intends to go.

Our insights, now easier to explore

The updated blog brings our existing articles into a searchable collection, with category filters to help readers explore the topics most relevant to them. You can search for subjects such as leadership, copper, recruitment or relocation, then follow related articles to explore the wider discussion.

Our writing has examined how industry developments translate into practical workforce questions. In When Housing Markets Limit Hiring, we explored the influence of housing and mobility on recruitment. In CEO Turnover Is Rising, we considered what changing leadership expectations mean for executive search and succession planning.

Our article on the hidden talent strategy behind Canada’s next generation of mines takes that discussion into a specific technical setting, examining the workforce planning questions surrounding specialised underground mining expertise.

These are different subjects, but they share a common purpose: connecting what is happening across the sector with the decisions employers and professionals need to make.

Returning to the conversation

With the new website in place, we will resume publishing, with the ambition of producing industry-leading insights grounded in credible research, technical understanding and practical relevance.

Our focus will remain on developments that affect leadership, specialist talent and project delivery. That includes changes in technology, investment, workforce mobility and the expectations placed on senior professionals.

Each article will consider what a development means in practice. Which capabilities might a business need next? How could a change affect the available talent pool? What should an employer examine before defining a role or beginning a search?

We will draw on credible sources and clearly distinguish published evidence from our interpretation. The aim is to give readers useful context for decisions that rarely fit neatly within a job description.
